We are absolutely delighted to be introducing another Kazuri West – Many Hands Marketplace Design Team Member, Sandra Francour of Sandra’sDesigns. San Diego based Sandra specializes in beautiful jewelry inspired by world travels.
She has been making unique wearable art since 2004. She once owned a boutique in Boston for 9 years and was a development director for several non-profits in the San Francisco area for 11 years. But it is her extensive travelling and her experiences with so many different cultures while abroad which influences her her designs the most.
Some of the many countries she’s been to include the Philippines while in the Peace Corps. She was also a university professor in diverses places such as Iran and Japan!
Her work has been sold in boutiques, galleries and museums such as The San Diego Museum of Art, The Women’s Museum of California, The Mingei International Museum and the Huntingdon in Pasadena. She has also won awards at juried art shows at the South Bayfront Art Gallery.
